If you have reviewed my different service packages, you would know that I am a Young Living specific doula! So of course, with that comes with the following questions: "why only this brand?" and "can I just have you use my own oils from Target on me to make it cheaper?" and simple answer: No, I'm afraid not. And here is the simple why:
Did you know that the FDA only requires that at least less than 20% of the oil be pure? Which means that they can put “100% Pure” on their bottles because at least 20% is 100% pure. (More often than not, it is actually less than 20%!) A lot of essential oil brands will even have expiration dates on their bottles somewhere. If you see one, run! There is nothing in a pure essential oil to go rancid! Which means there was something added and it is not truly 100% pure. It's sad, but it's the truth. Now of course, that means that we have NO idea what is in the other whopping 80%-90% of the bottle or what was added to make the oil expire! Which is scary to think about when you are using that product for a medicinal or therapeutic use. Without knowing what it is inside, what kind of reaction that may cause on someone's skin, I will not use them in the diffuser or on someone. Especially since 99% of them are not safe for internal consumption or even topical application, they are for perfumy air smells only. I know this statement is true, firsthand!
